Training your health
February 18, 2008
If you diet without training, you will lose muscle. In nutrition-terms: your metabolism will slow down. You will need to eat less and less. The easiest way ‘neverending diet cycle’ is to build up muscle & train properly.
Your muscle is an active tissue. It translates into this: it burns calories even while you’re resting. As you increase your muscle mass, you’ll need more calories to keep your body weight constant. I you are dieting, you’ll find that you can keep losing bodyfat without staying hungry.
While aging, one’s body will slowly lose muscle at the rate of five to ten pounds every decade. This is the main reason why many people gain weight as they age. Less muscle leads to a slower metabolism – one needs fewer calories at age 40 than he/she did at 30. The only way to help your body help you, is to get into the gym and start training!
Let’s get over to “Reiki”…

First question(s)
What does it mean, what does it stand for?Well, it’s a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that promotes healing. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one’s “life force energy” is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words – Rei which means “God’s Wisdom or the Higher Power” and Ki which is “life force energy”. So Reiki is actually : “spiritually guided life force energy.”
Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping many illnesses and maladies and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.
Teaching and performing Reiki has helped me more than even I can imagine at the time being. It’s a great way of getting your needed daily ammount of wellness&wellbeing.
