Up to 80% of adult Westerners consume caffeine on a regular basis. Most commonly, the caffeine is in coffee, tea, coke, and chocolate. This adds up to about 3000 mg of caffeine per day, or the equivalent of about two cups of coffee.
The substance stimulates the central nervous system, increasing the stress hormones in the blood streams, thus making a person feel more active, more fit. Consequently induced alert state tends to subdue your body’s natural instincts and prevent it from relaxing. This causes a great quantity of stress and may even lead to diseases.
It’s like being “doped” on a 24 hour basis. While the morning cup of coffee or tea peps up degree of alertness, most people don’t stop at that. Almost every office goer develops an addiction for the next cup and subsequently, a heavy sickness sets in by late afternoon. In the evening you might even find yourself not being fit to perform the simplest action, because of being too tired for anything.
I would suggest some morning exercise to keep yourself fit.  Open the window and let a fresh breeze in, then try moving your arms and legs just after getting up – do some 5 sit-ups every morning.  Coffee isn’t the only thing in thsi world to get you fit & ready for “battle”. ;)

So, if anyone ever cares to ask again: “No, I wouldn’t care for a cup, thanks a lot!!” :)
